The St. John of God Early Intervention program serves
families with a child under the age of three with identified
developmental disabilities. Our services are designed to enhance
the development of children through therapeutic services, family
education, training and support activities. Early Intervention
Services are offered at two convenient locations - Westville
Grove in Gloucester County, and Pittsgrove in Salem County, NJ.
The Early Intervention Program is comprehensive and family
centered, respecting the unique structure, values and beliefs of
each family we serve. Services offered include physical therapy,
occupational therapy, speech therapy, special education,
nursing and social work.
Each member of the Early Intervention team is highly qualified and trained in the area of infant and early childhood
development. The St. John of God program provides additional training to all Early Intervention staff in the areas of
Infant Mental Health, Communication and Parent/Child Relationships. We believe the ability to listen and offer
empathy is critical to the success of the services we provide.
The Early Intervention staff of St. John of God is recognized for its specialized knowledge and expertise in Autism
and Pervasive Developmental Delays.
