Martin Luther King Jr. Obstacle Course
The Early Childhood classrooms did an awesome job learning about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s quest to end segregation. The students performed gross motor skill play during their gym classes. The students walked, climbed, jumped, balanced through obstacles. The end of the obstacle was to position a poster of Dr. King and Rosa Parks onto a bus prop choosing either the front of the bus or the back of the bus. Students then celebrated at the end of the obstacle course and posed representing the freedom that people now have.
