Supporting Our Community

Our services reach far beyond our campus! From supporting local individuals and families facing food insecurity to delivering fresh, nutritious food to communities throughout South Jersey, our Food Pantry Services are making a meaningful and direct impact.

Through both our on-site Food Pantry and Mobile Food Pantry, we are able to meet people where they are, providing essential food items, fresh produce, and continued support with dignity and compassion. These services reflect our commitment to caring for the whole person and strengthening the communities we serve.

See below for more information about our Food Pantry and Mobile Food Pantry programs, including how to access services or get involved.

Food Pantry

Our Food Pantry is open year-round and exists to support members of the St. John of God Community Services family, as well as anyone in the community who may be in need of assistance. We strive to create a welcoming, respectful space where individuals and families can receive support with dignity and care.

Our on-site pantry is stocked with a variety of shelf-stable food items, including breakfast essentials, canned goods, pasta, and more. Thanks to the generosity of our community partners, we are also able to offer bakery items and bread, frozen breakfast sandwiches, and additional food items as they are available—all helping us better serve and nourish our community.

Mobile Food Pantry

Our Mobile Food Pantry, a fully customized bus, allows us to expand our reach by bringing fresh produce and essential food items directly to underserved communities. By partnering with community organizations and local farms, we are able to host food distribution events and make healthy, nutritious food more accessible to those who need it most.

Designed to meet individuals and families where they are, our Mobile Food Pantry extends the support of our on-site food pantry into the community. With fresh produce and convenient meal kit bags, our Mobile Food Pantry is ready to support you with care, dignity, and compassion.

Get Invovled!

Your support can help families across South Jersey access fresh produce, fruits, and pantry staples. Whether you choose to donate items, contribute financially, or volunteer your time, every action helps strengthen our community and provide hope to those in need.
