Our Largest Event Ever- Hope with Hospitality 2026

On March 13th our community gathered for an unforgettable evening; one that celebrated hope, hospitality, and the power of Doing Good.

We are grateful for the immense support from all of our donors, sponsors, community partners, families, and clients that made the evening so magical.

As our signature event and largest fundraiser, our Hope with Hospitality Gala generates critical funds to expand our programs and continue offering top level care that we are known for.

This year we went "Back to Our Roots" to our Spanish heritage in Granada, Spain. The Collingswood Grand Ballroom was covered in a rich red and roses that created an elegant and sophisticated ambience. Our program opened with a Flamenco performance that set the tone as the clients we serve joined in to show off their moves.

Our Honorees

This year we were thrilled to honor Jacob Heiser, a House of John client as part of our family reflection. Jacob joined the House of John program in January 2024 and from the very first day, his smile lit up the room in a way that only Jacob can. Whether he’s cracking perfectly timed jokes using his communication device or rocking out to his favorite songs with pure joy, he brings an energy that is contagious and uplifting to everyone around him.

For our Heritage Award winner, we choose companies or individuals who have made a direct impact on their community, and are patrons of our Do Good motto. This year, we were thrilled to honor NEST, an Integrated Facilities Management Company. A key component of their success has been their contribution on giving back to the community. Through NEST Nurtures, St. John of God was one of the many recipients in 2025. They dedicated their time and resources to help renovate our Hospitality Suite. Dozens of employees, family members, and community members helped make this space a welcoming and safe environment for our clients. We couldn’t have selected a more deserving company to honor with our Heritage Award. Their commitment to doing good in the community truly reflects the spirit of service and compassion that this award represents!

Event Highlights

As a fundraiser, our gala has an assortment of opportunities for donors and community members to support us. Our wine pull, basket raffles, and basket of cheer had some incredible prizes this year. From designer bags, to a signed Bryce Harper baseball bat there is truly an item for everyone. Congrats to all of our winners!

A huge hit this year was our live giving meter with a $10,000 goal by the end of the night. Thanks to all of our amazing supporters we surpassed our goal! These funds will help expand our programs so we are very grateful for the support.
